  • 1 pound chicken breast sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 lime juiced
  • fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season sliced chicken breast with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  • In the same skillet, add sliced bell peppers, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Sauté for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  • Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and toss well to combine all flavors.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving. Enjoy your classic Mexican chicken skillet warm, as is or with your choice of sides.
